How Trial Lawyers Target Construction Employers - And How to Stay Off Their Radar

Presented by Katie Evans, Fisher Phillips LLP

California’s construction industry is under siege. PAGA and wage/hour claims continue to explode — even after recent reforms — driving up costs, killing jobs, and making it harder to build housing and commercial projects. The 2025 Numbers Are Alarming:

    • $2.2 Billion – Total 2025 settlements up 64%
    • $917,000 – Average 2025 settlement up 3%
    • 2,378 – Total lawsuits up 32%
    • $307,782 – Average attorney payout up 10%

And early 2026 data shows the trend is accelerating, with total settlements projected to exceed $2.3 Billion.

Every day your company remains exposed is another day you risk becoming the next target. Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late.

Join us for this high-impact, free seminar and learn concrete, actionable strategies to strengthen your defenses, reduce exposure, and better protect your company and employees.
